During January and February, we will be working on basic multiplication facts still. We will also be writing shape poems during Creative Writing time. In Language class, we will review verbs and start to go over adjectives. We will also think of ways to improve our writing using juicy adjectives and verbs that will strengthen our stories and essays. In Science, we will study animals and each student in my class will be writing a research report on an animal of their choice. In Geography, we will study the United States as well as Massachusetts. Please help your child learn the names of the states and their capitals. If you could buy them flashcards or a puzzle of the United States, it would be a great resource for them to have in Grade 3 as well as Grade 4.
